  1. Oh Michelle, I can so relate to this post. I’m so, so sorry for your pain. Those chains can be so strong, can’t they? Thank you for reminding me of this passage! Jesus sets us free from the chains! That song is among my favorites. Keep sharing your voice, Michelle. You make hurting souls feel less alone and God is glorified. May He make us victory dancers free of chains rather than merely survivors! Hugs!

  2. Trudy, you are such a blessing to me. We sang that song in church yesterday and I smiled and thought of you and the victory dance of freedom! Victory Dancers – I love it! Reminds me of that song by Bethel Music – “We Dance”
    “When my faith gets tired
    And my hope seems lost
You spin me round and round
And remind me of that song
The one you wrote for me
    And we dance”
…. it gives me great comfort to know we never dance alone. Thank you sweet friend for your encouragement. ((Hugs)) back to you!!

    1. You are a blessing to me as well, Michelle. I looked up and listened to that song – We Dance – and I love it! Thank you for encouraging my heart today. 🙂 Yes, such a sweet comfort to know we never dance alone. We will keep trying to encourage each other to dance with Jesus in our hearts!

  3. I shared this story with my Sunday School class of boys a few weeks ago. We acted it out and the loved it. It’s a great story of how God comes to set us free in our most desperate places. Thank you for sharing your words with us!
