  1. Michelle, thank you so much for sharing this! What if’s, catastrophic thinking, trying to anticipate what will happen in order to be prepared… it’s like you can see into my mind, and I have never actually found someone that I felt understood this before!
I am better than I used to be but it is still far too easy to get sucked into that downward spiral. I really appreciate your post- it has given me some things to think and pray about.

    1. Lesley, thank you for being here and for your encouragement and friendship. I am thankful for you, and will be praying with you and for you. I am praying God will continue to give us wisdom and help us to avoid those downward spirals completely! Thanks so much for sharing.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing these what-if and anxiety thoughts, Michelle, and how God brought you to “expect.” I identify with all the worrying and of “replaying a conversation over and over thinking I said something wrong.” It can really put us in a frenzy, can’t it? Though I am learning more to rest in God bit by bit, I still so easily fall into my worrywart default mode. Trusting God and expecting Him to come through for us is a continual learning process, isn’t it? May we together expect great rescues from God this year! Love and hugs!

    1. Yes, Trudy – frenzy is a perfect word to describe it! This is a continual learning process and I am so thankful we are learning together and encouraging each other. And YES, let’s expect great rescues from God. Thank you for being here and for your support. I appreciate you and your brave, kind words. Love and big hugs to you! 🙂
