Living as a Daughter of the King

What does chocolate ice cream with whipped cream have to do with living as a daughter of the King? How do you live as a Daughter of the King when you are covered in labels that say bad things about you?
How do you live as a Daughter of the King when you have other good, important titles/labels with responsibilities?
How do you live as a Daughter of the King when it feels like your life is falling apart?
I shared some of my recent personal experiences (along with examples from women in the Bible) that have shown me what it looks like to truly “LIVE as a Daughter of the King” at the “I Am a Daughter of the King Women’s Conference” at Olive Branch Church in Durham, NC.
Grab a bowl of ice cream (with or without whipped cream – you decide) and enjoy!
I also created a “Live as a Daughter of the King” Journal for you to download below.
The night ended with us enjoying a bowl of ice cream while working on a craft. We used a canvas to write out the old labels and replace them with truth to remind us that we are Daughters of the King!

My new book, Journey Pink, The Story of a Princess in Need of a King, is a memoir of healing from Childhood Sexual Abuse. You can find out more about the book and read early reviews here. The book is scheduled to release by May 10. It is getting closer. Stay tuned! If you have experienced sexual abuse, I pray this book will bring you courage, hope, and freedom in Jesus to live as a Daughter of the King. The shame from the abuse was never yours to carry!
