In 2013, I started this blog as a way to help me process and document my healing journey.
Throughout my healing journey, the color pink reminded me that my identity was in Christ and that He was my king. I knew I was His daughter, but I didn’t always feel like a princess. Pink helped me cling to His truth.
Journey Pink stands for the Journey of a Princess In Need of a King.
Let’s journey together princess. Our King is waiting with open arms.
The Journey of a Princess In Need of a King is my memoir of how Jesus healed me from the devastation of Childhood Sexual Abuse. It is the story of my journey to discover the answers to the questions that burned inside of me for years:
What does it look like to heal from Childhood Sexual Abuse? How is it even possible?
As I discovered the answer to those questions, Jesus radically changed my life.
My chains are gone. He set me free from my past.
He can do the same for you.
You are not alone.
Join the conversation! You are invited to join the private Journey Pink Community on Facebook by clicking the link above.
Community changes everything when you are struggling.
The Journey Pink Community is a safe place to connect with others. Our mission is always to inspire each other to have courage, hope, and freedom in Jesus.
You are welcome here.
I am Michelle Viscuse, and my passion is to inspire women to have courage, hope, and freedom in Jesus Christ! Jesus delivered me from a past filled with secrets and shame.
He set me free.
I was afraid, and he gave me courage.
He gave me hope when I thought it was impossible to heal.
My chains were broken, one by one, and he gave me freedom.
And, he will do it for you. Do you want to be free?
Maybe, you’ve been on your journey for a while, or perhaps you are just starting. Maybe you are not even sure what it means, but you are tired of pretending, and you need something real.
Jesus is real, and He is worth it.
No matter where you have been, no matter what has happened to you, no matter what you’ve done, He’s right there whispering,
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me, and you will recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me, and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly”Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)
Freely and lightly was the desire of my weary heart. What about you? Grab a coffee or Diet Coke (or both if you are like me), and let’s journey together, princess. Our King is waiting with open arms.
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who has promised is faithful.Hebrews 10:22-23
