I spotted this nest in a tree on New Year's Eve.
The outside of the nest was all I could see.
Standing on my tippy toes, I hoped to get a glance at what was growing inside.
Are there eggs in the nest or baby birds chirping? I listened carefully.
I anticipated what was growing inside the nest and the egg. Growth is a process, and right now, God is growing me again.
Peeling back layers and offering new healing.
I can only see the excitement of the nest and what is coming.
I'd like to know what is inside and what it entails.
Being aware and prepared in advance feels safer to me.
This image reminded me to look up. The great sky above surrounded the nest on the lone branch.
He watches over the nest, the eggs, and the bird. He sees.
He watches over me.
He knows. Don't worry. Trust the process. Be carefree in the care of God. “Take the carefree birds as your example. Do you ever see them worry? They neither grow their own food nor put it in a storehouse for later. Yet God takes care of every one of them, feeding each of them out of the abundance of his love and goodness.
